Project ASK
Project ASK is a non-profit organization that helps research cancer treatments and gives aid to children diagnosed with cancer financially, socially, and spiritually. ASK works to provide support to patients and their families by providing comfort and compassion to make the treatment process less traumatic for the children and parents. ASK works with over a 1,000 children and their families each year while they are receiving treatment in the Richmond area. Virginia FBLA has been working with Project ASK for over 30 years to raise the funds needed to provide support to these children. VA FBLA has donated over $1,000,000 to Project ASK within the last 30 years. The ACS FBLA chapter helps Project ASK by donating $100 in gift cards each fall and donating most of the funds from the annual Christmas Variety Show to Project ASK. Within the state, our chapter receives ribbons each year at the state conference for donating to ASK and being an ASK Hero.
